Why does Domino's drown its pizza in sour tomato sauce?

Question

I have adjusted my orders to "light" on sauce and extra cheese but to no avail. They continue to slather and drown that pizza in so much sauce and very little cheese.

Yeah, the salty tomato sauce and the refine white floor and the cheap cheese isn’t good for your healthy, 
I usually go for the Alfredo sauce instead of The marinara

Get the Pan Pizza.  It's really, really good, plus they make it with less sauce and more cheese automatically.

Get the deep dish pan pizza and sub Alfredo sauce for tomato sauce. Next you add chicken, feta, Parmesan, and light mushrooms
