You would need to be a fully trained registered nurse.

No "practical nurses" or "vocational nurses" in the UK - those designations do not exist. Nurse's aides or caregivers are not eligible for any temporary employment visa to work in UK (or anywhere else). The UK shortage list of occupations includes only a couple types of specialist nurses, and RNs are not eligible. You will need MSN degree & several years of experience in that particular specialization to qualify to apply for any open position with an authorized employer who holds govt permission to consider foreign applicants.

Do not expect to qualify for any employment visa anywhere as a nurse unless you hold MSN plus experience in a highly specialized area of nursing. In many cases, even BSN + experience will not give you any chance of qualifying for a visa & actually getting hired. No shortages of RNs practically anywhere anymore, even in many very impoverished countries. And any qualification below RN is rapidly becoming obsolete in today's environment of demand for highly trained specialists with advanced education.

If by "practical nurse, vocational nurse" you mean untrained/unquaified then you are not a nurse but a care assitant and there that doesn't qualify to get any visa.

We do not have Practical or Vocational Nurses in the UK. We only have Registered Nurses.

Unless you have a 3 year  BSc nursing   degree proper or an equivalent, forget it.
