PS4 in 1999?
If i go back in time to early 1999 and show ps4 to people in that time, how would they react to that gaming console. I will show them games like resident evil2 remake, god of war 2018, uncharted 4, day gone ect.

They’d be moaning about Sony producing a useless box which could not connect to anything.
HDMI was launched in December 2002 so no TVs in 1999 could connect to a PS4.
HDMI wasn’t common on TVs for many years after launch, and it took even longer for manufacturers to start adding audio capability to HDMI which was originally designed for video feed only.
But if the correct TVs had been available then hardly anyone could have afforded to buy one, and the cost of memory and storage back then meant almost nobody could have afforded the cost of a PS4. A single GB of hard drive storage was expensive back then, and RAM simply didn’t exist in GB form on consumer devices.
