I have a old gameboy advance sp, When i plug it in, the charge light flashes for a second, then goes off. can i turn it on without the batt?
i had resoldered the part that connected the battery to the board, but it still wont work. i want to turn on the gameboy with just the charger, but as i had said it just flashes for 1 second then goes off. is there anything i can do that will make it turn on without the battery? the gameboy was dropped in the sink, it works because it lights up when plugged in, it just wont turn on. i need any help i can get.

Option 1) If it's just because the battery is old and knackered, you can still pick up replacements for about a tenner.
Option 2) You can still play Gameboy games without a Gameboy via the "VisualBoy Advance" emulator, with a library of games available from sites such as "Vimm's Layer" (among others)
Option 3) If you dropped it in water, and tried to turn it on before it's dried out properly it may have shorted the circuitboard somewhere, in which case it's probably f***ed beyond repair.
