Vegans before going vegan did you eat Mcdonalds?

 I prefer to prepare my own food at home generally, but I eat McDonald's salad's & wholemeal wraps on occasion as a token of my appreciation for McDonald's contributions they've made to the community by giving young people their first employment opportunities & also by helping out sick children with "McDonald's house"

Hardly. On occasion do I eat it now but it's literally only if I can't find food elsewhere as a last resort, maybe once a year or even less. Infact definitely less. When I was vegan I didn't go at all... I try to eat very healthily and whole foods, so don't like processed and unhealthy foods such as McDonalds. I find the other answers interesting, I have a friend who works at McDonalds as a manager who hated it and has now left.

Yes until I built up an intolerance to their terrible food.

Not that often. Even before becoming vegan I was a bit of a health-conscious food snob. But when you are on a big trip and on the interstate a fast food joint was always the safe convenient choice. 

I preferred Burger King to McDs. Didn't eat at BKs that often either. 

I did like a good hamburger. There was this one place that ground their own meat daily and cooked it to order and had a bar where you could put all the fixings on yourself. 

No. Never been inside a McDonald’s, never eaten their food.

I went vegetarian some years before McDonald’s opened their first branch in the UK.

Their food is famously rubbish - I wouldn’t eat it even if I were not vegan.

But even if McDonald’s food was great (and vegan) I wouldn’t eat there because of their abuse of their workers, including poverty wages and zero hours contracts.

No, I got banned due to the McLibel case when I was still eating dairy. I did have one cup of coffee there, a single serving of fries and a coke, so I maybe went three times altogether. Soon after that I started protesting against them, partly due to workers' rights and partly due to their environmental record, and then there was the McLibel case, loads of false flag stuff and infiltration of our group (admitted to publicly a few years later) and we got banned en masse.

McDonalds is a good reason to go Vegan.
