can amoxicillin treat cavity infection?

    It still works for 2/3rds of dental infections (usually abscesses between the gum line and the jaw). Cavities (when the enamel has weakened beyond a white spot and broken up) must be cleaned out and then filled.

    Talk to your dentist if you have a tooth infection. Don't leave it as the infection could spread to your brain and get into your blood and cause heart problems too.

    I’ve heard that only certain types of antibiotics work in fighting dental infections. Amoxicillin is one and so is Clindamycin.

    maybe, but antibiotics are dangerous, I got poisoned by them years ago, and they don't even have an authority on them, do a search for [ antibiotics, weight gain ] I wrongly thought they were given in injection to the cows, WRONG in the FEED ! it fattens up the cows and us people too, but it's a slow gain, not my imagination either, do the search, you won't believe the number of hits you get.....AND [ liposomal C ] can act like an antibiotic without the danger of the drugs IF you are comfortable with it...if not, then don't do it....
