The half-life of radon is 3.5 days- if there was 10kg of radon, how much would remain after 14 days?

What does this imply about how long radon will be hazardous? What will the decayed radon have become and would the new substance be hazardous?

    Number of half-lives = 14 / 3.5 = 4

    Mass remaining = 10 kg X (1/2)^4 = 0.625 kg
