How do i get rid of low self esteem and negative thoughts?
I like to take care of myself, but i dont belief i am a handsome man.
But when i go outside, to work for example and i look at a reflection of my self i look ugly and sick.
I dont know why but it is pretty strange.
When someone and i are mad at each other i feel like he is in his right.
I takes 3 or more days to finally realize i was right, but most of the time it is already to late.
My mind doesnt make my feel confortable around other people.
When i am talking to someone my mind is blank.
It is like i am acting all the time, so that means it impossible to make friends or to get a girlsfriend.
But when someone is not smiling all the time when i am trying to talk to them it is almost like my mind is kicking me.
But when i make a joke and someone is laughing hard, the first second i feel like he is laughing at me.
But a second later i realize he was just laughing.
And that is really frustrating.
This are just a few examples, i hope you can help me

Hi,
Are you a perfectionist that focuses on only
Their faults and usually dismisses their great
Points by adding things like, “ they don’t matter”?
Or “ oh they don’t count?”
Or “ oh but everyone is like that?”
There’s a dedicated program for a great
Work around and it’s reasonably easy too, see.
Moodgym ANU
Or
Mindspot.org.au
Thanks
Very Best Wishes

One of your thinking challenges
are you tend to personalise events,
And you don’t have to do that.

A few things you can do:
-Serve other people, this will help to take your mind off negative thoughts about yourself, and help you to love others more. And you will start to love yourself more too.
-Get a therapist, they are helpful for things like this.
-Correct yourself when those bad thoughts come. Automatic thought: "He's probably laughing at me." Correct yourself: "No, he was laughing at my joke, this means we could become friends." You have to train yourself for awhile, but eventually those thoughts become more automatic. Would you hang around a friend who talked about you this way? Be your own friend and think encouraging thoughts about yourself, though you don't have to deny your weaknesses, we all have those.
-Spend more time with the people who love and care about you as you are, they can help.

when I was depressed my friend gave me some good advice. get as much paper as you need. on one lot write everything you feel is wrong and on a different sheet everything you believe to be good about yourself. maybe once a week see how many things you can cross off the bad pile and add to the good pile. Best Wishes to you.
