To kids in school; Are you taught American History? If so, what version? WWI?  WWII? The horrors of socialism & communism?

I wasn't taught any of that stuff in school. The history they did teach was boring, so I studied ancient China instead. Mostly world history, but surprisingly, not a lot about the Cold War, WWII, nor any of the world's major atrocities. I live in Cali. That could be why. I graduated high school 10 years ago. I only imagine it's gotten worse.

They're taught Jefferson owned slaves but the teachers forget to mention that Jefferson did more to end slavery than anyone who has ever lived including banning importation of slaves as president and making the freedom of slaves part of the DOI. It was voted down but the "endowed by their creator..." part eventually led to the end of slavery worldwide. 

I was taught that socialism and communism were good and that capitalism is bad.  I was educated at a Montessori and Waldorf school and various liberal arts colleges.  I'm a progressive Democrat

When I was in school We said the Pledge of Allegiance every morning before class began! A Picture of President of Reagan was on the wall and we were told nothing good comes from Communism. 

Americans are taught they won the war of 1812 which is completely false. 

They spend a good deal of time on the"colonial period" without ever saying that colonization is WRONG.

The Left wing run schools teach kids to sing praises to obongo and the "joys" of homosexual relations.... they don't have time for important subjects.
