What happens when you call the suicide hotline?

Will they track your number down and the police shows up to your house?

    they are able to, but they will not do it unless a crime had happened

    The video has a number you can call - all calls are confidential, no one will bother you.The video is part of a suicide prevention series. 

    Also, there's a chat site that has a very good reputation - 7 Cups.

    Usually they just talk to you until they believe you will be safe.
