7.62mm Russian Nagant (7.62x38mmR) performes better than S & W long ammo because of gas seal mechanism of Nagant revolver? or both are equal?

The Smith and Wesson Long is a pretty lame round and the Nagant is better. However the Nagant is a bummer to reload so you would pretty much stuck with expensive box ammo. I would get a revolver that fires the 327 Federal Mag. That way you can use the same gun and cylinder to fire that round PLUS the 32 H and R Mag, the 32 Smith Long and the 32 Smith Shoot. Plus you can reload all of them.
