Compare Anime and Cartoons?

Generally speaking the plot is usually better in anime than in cartoons because it’s more complex. Cartoons have overused patterns like superheroes that become annoying after a while and they are all just mindless battles between good and evil. 

Although anime also use patterns the story has enough twists to make it not so predictable.    

What makes anime superior to cartoons???

The two words which divide the world of cartoons and anime....

One could say that it is forbidden to mention the sacred message within the vicinity of a normie, but im about to break this ancient rule. 

The sheer power emanating from the holy syllables could make a man lose his sanity, and turn him into a flesh-beating fiend!

If your insight is high enough you'll see the world for what it truly is and therefore understand the grand false-narration of chads all around the globe, they try to belittle the art of anime by saying: "watching anime is gay!".

Cartoons tend to have more liberty to explore different art styles. Which in turn allows their art to be made to better suit the tone of the show that is being made.

Anime tends to use a blanket art style over every kind of show.

Overall western animation is stronger than japanese. A lot of it comes down to better training and schools for it in the US as well as bigger budgets and less time constraints. This applies to 2D and even more so with 3D. And before haters try and debate this - disney and pixar are far ahead of the game. Beating out even Ghibli for the most part.

the biggest thing anime has going for it is that there are more anime for young adults than cartoons. Cartoons are usually for young children or older adults with not much in between.

The graphics are different. They look more realistic and are very idealistic.

Anime, cartoon in Japan, focus on audience of Teens and Adults. Characters are drawn for sexual attraction.

Cartoon, cartoon in America, focus on audience of Kids. Characters are drawn to make people laugh.

Donghua, cartoon in China, focus on... I don't really know, I don't watch these. These too have Japan's drawn for sexual attraction.

Anime can work for older audiences but a lot of cartoons are for younger kids. The style of cartoons is more crude but has a more comedy taste than anime which tends to be more serious sometimes. Cartoons can get boring quick compared to anime if watched non-stop episode after episode and they have less plot. Anime sometimes has more adult themes and content and action looks more realistic while cartoons have less of these things that younger kids can still watch.
