What if someone has a 100% p&T disability rating but has a can return to duty TDRL from DOD what happens then?

The VA's disability rating is only used to determine what benefits the veteran is eligible to receive. It has no standing with the military. If the DOD determines that the person is fit for duty, and they NEED him to return, then he will go back to duty.
