AUD to EURO question: ?

I’ve never travelled before so sorry if this seems stupid. But we have a $6000 limit travelling to Greece. I just seen that $6000 is equal to €3700.

Does this mean we’ve lost $2300 and we have to save that much more?

Thanks

No, It just means than a Euro is worth 1.62 Australian Dollars at the current exchange rate. I don't know how expensive things are in Greece but it may be that you'll need more. When you return to Australia you can exchange any Euros back to Aussie dollars. Unless the exchange rate has changed drastically you should get approximately what you paid for them back.
