Sugar Gliders Should Be Legal Pets In N.S.W Just Like V.I.C And S.A. Who Agrees?

Personally don't believe they should be kept as pets.

As a wildlife carer I recently raised 2 orphans. They were hand reared, one had not even opened eyes when they came in. Despite this, as adults they were still shy and skittish. Human contact is not something they enjoy.

I don't think they should be legal ANYWHERE. It's cruel to keep an animal like that caged. There's also nocturnal so forcing them to be diurnal is further cruelty. Most often these animals also die because people don't know how to care for them properly.
