Why does the temp on my IWATCH differ from my IPHONE?

Update:

I understand that the I-watch is basically a subset of my I-phone, yet it shows different temps. Why?

    and lack of absolute accuracy in one or both.

    I keep my temp indicators on a shelf, not on my body.
