Do you think people in Sacramento are mean?

I moved to Sacramento from Florida half a year ago. I've met several nice people, and I know you can't generalize and people are people. However, I have to say that I find people in this area to be meaner than anywhere I've ever been. It's as if they don't care about your feelings and they think they're tough.

There are many nice people in Sacramento, but there are also many of the younger people who seem to think that they are entitled to something and are best avoided.  A lot depends on the neighborhood your are in.

I find all Californians, as much as I can generalize from my own experience, to be perpetual teenagers. They are summed up as "like, oh my god." I imagine a California doctor would walk in a say "like oh my god, what the hell is wrong with your face??!!" Then you explain the bullet would, he'll say "wow..."

Like you said, many other people are considerate, situationally aware, etc. Not Californians.
