My new computer doesn't have an SD reader.?
I purchased a Sunpak High speed card reader.I used it a couple times and it worked perfect.I just tried to use it with the micro card from my cell phone(which I used before no problem)a notice comes up saying my computer doesn't recognize the reader???What am I doing wrong???Now the notice doesn't even come up,when plugged in there is nothing?????

Sounds like driver problems or reader failure. Maybe reinstalling its software will fix it.

Unplug the reader open up the device manager find where it says USB hubs at the very bottom and reset all of the hubs then you can plug the reader back in and it will work

Based on your description, it is most likely that the card reader is damaged. You will need to replace it with another one. USB devices and ports can go bad for what seems to be no explicable reason.

Just to be sure it's not your USB port, try it on other USB connections. If it won't work, return the reader and get a replacement. Since your computer is new, it probably isn't the USB connection.
