People wrongly accuse JW of being false prophets. Didn't the people of Noah's day also say the same about Noah?

A repetitive pattern in the Bible was the people's refusal to accept the warnings given by God's messengers during the days of the Judean Kingdom.

People also accused Jesus not being false. The Pharisees and chief priests accused Christ of expelling demons by means of Beelzebub.

The religious leaders conspired with the political leaders to put Christ to death.

Same is true in our day and the small minority throughout history.

Outsiders viewed the truth as false because of their wrong interpretation of certain Scriptures which really meant something else to trained believers.

Update:

The Pharisees also misinterpreted most of Christ's sayings. They didn't have the correct interpretation of the Scriptures.

When Jesus spoke about eating the Pharisees said: "How can this man give us his flesh to eat?"

Repeatedly they wrongly interpreted Christ literally. Same is true with Mystery Babylon's version of Christianity that exists today

I don't call JWs prophets at all, but their denial of Jesus's deity has perhaps created more harm than the Pharisees did.

JW's are a cult. Their founder has been seen in hell, and those that follow his teaching follow him to hell.

    http://www.divinerevelations.info/documents/rodolf...

We continued walking and the Lord showed me a white man whose hands were stretched out and the surprising thing about this man is that he had a very fine sword inside his tongue and this sword crossed through his head and was coming out of his body. His feet were grabbed by chains and his back was full of blades set in different positions in a way that no matter how he moved, he would be cut. When I saw this man in this condition, I told Jesus, “Lord, please help him. Do something Lord Jesus. Look at the horrendous pain that this man is going through.” The Lord asked me- “You don’t know who this man is? “No, Lord”, I said. I saw how the knives got through his skin and then through the bones and how they came out of his body. The man only screamed in agony.

The Lord told me, “judgment against this man has been established. Now I am going to tell you the identity of this man.” Because of that revelation, the Lord said ‘You will have to run from city to city because this will cause you a great persecution but I will be with you.” He went on to say “Rodolfo, this man is Charles T. Russell”. I said “Lord, who is he?” The Lord said that this man was the founder of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. I pleaded “Lord, please help him” and the Lord said: “No, Rodolfo”. And as the Lord moved his hands, immediately I saw that many souls were falling into hell in every way possible: they were falling head first, feet first, stomach first etc.

“Rodolfo, for that cursed man, all these souls are entering into hell. This man taught that God was only a God of love. The Bible says that God is a consuming fire. This man Charles Russell took the word hell from the Bible and he took out all the words sheol and Abadon. Also, he denied the deity of Jesus Christ and also denied the deity of the Holy Spirit and he put only the Word Jehovah in the Bible. He took out Jesus and the Holy Spirit. For this cursed man, all these souls are falling into hell.” (Revelation 22:18-19).

Then the Lord said: “I curse that man”.

Please Jehovah Witness that is listening to me at this moment, I don’t want to offend you. Get out of that sect and come to Jesus quickly. I don’t hate you and I don’t hate your religion either but you are in a farce. Come to Jesus. He is waiting for you with open hands. Charles Russell is in hell because he taught lies. Don’t follow his lies. When we left this place, these prison doors closed and caught fire and this man Charles Russell cried and screamed and cursed Jesus repeatedly because Jesus said “The judgment has been set for this man”.

Throughout history people wrongly accused God's true prophets of being false prophets and didn't take their warnings seriously until destruction came. Noah, Isaiah, the book of Judges, Christ, etc

JW are false prophets...that's the difference.

And that -- in and of itself -- proves absolutely nothing. Logic's not your strong suit, I see.

I've never heard of anyone accusing JWs of being prophets at all, false or otherwise.

I HAVE heard of JWs pushing falseHOODS, such as proclaiming, loudly, the end of the world would be in 1875, 1914, 1925, and 1975.

I have heard of JWs claiming they do not protect pedophiles among their ranks.  Oh, yes, they do.  A few such perverts have been arrested and prosecuted, but mostly after their victims themselves went to the police.  There was little cooperation from the JW rank-and-file, and sometimes deliberate attempts to shield the pedophiles.

I have heard of JWs using semantics and dishonest reasoning of all kinds to defend their lengthy hoax known as the NWT, their false theology, the Governing Body and themselves from realizing that they have been complicit in their own deception, and in deceiving others.  In their sinful pride, they prefer shutting their eyes as they walk into hell, taking the unwary with them, to the freedom and peace they could have through turning to the Light of the world, Jesus Christ, who is God Himself in a human body (John 1:1-18). They prefer lies from the devil and their own arrogant claim that they alone, out of roughly 8 billion people on earth, are "Christians," to the ineffable joy they could have at being added to the huge family of God's adopted children (John 1:12-13, Romans 8:15) through Jesus, who is the Way, the TRUTH and the Life (John 14:6).

JWs, for your own sakes, WAKE UP.  Jesus IS the Truth, and the Truth can set you free (John 8:32).

The JW prophets are false, because the facts and the actual history prove them to be false. Not so with all the other examples you cited.

The Jehova's Witness is a man-made superstition that began as a reboot of the failed cult known as the Millerite Movement who centered themselves around the prediction of doomsday during the 1830s. Having failed numerous times, the Millerites eventually dissolved and fractured into the Seventh Day Adventist and the Jehova Witness.

The SDA - after growing to a substantial size - began providing end time predictions to the JWs - some of its members who were also associated with the dissolved Millerites.

Noah didn't get the end of the world wrong over and over again.

Ironic, it's actually the gentile Christians, including the Gospel writers, who were outsiders and knew nothing about Jesus.
