If the democrats think the Electoral isn't democratic why do they use the same system to choose their presidential nominee?

  • Yeah..it's pretty weird that they let the DNC pick their candidate (against the popular vote) and then b@tch about the EC.

    LOL...maybe it's cuz the EC is Constitutional..they tend to hate that.

    Democrats do not use a winner-take-all system, like the electoral college. Delegates are awarded proportionally based on the popular vote.

    We don't.  Candidates over 15% get a proportion of delegates equal to their proportion of primary votes.  Glad I could clear that up for you.
