Are face masks in general use around Singapore at the moment. I will be visiting soon.?

    Masks are in use by the minority of the population. The coronavirus situation is under control in Singapore.

    face masks are okay to protect from

    sneezing people

    but washing hands with liquid soap

    like Lifebouy is very important as you

    will be pushing elevator/lift buttons

    a lot

    better is alcohol based hand rub

    If you're worried about coronavirus, face masks are more or less irrelevant. Washing your hands regularly is much more effective.
