    1 mph = (22/15) fps. 7 mph = (7*22/15) fps = 10.2666666 fps. In 23 seconds S travels 23(10.266666) ft = 236.13333 ft = 236.1 ft to nearest tenth of a ft.

    Convert the miles to feet and the hour to seconds.

    One hour is equal to 3,600 seconds. So multiply 7 by 5,280 to see how many feet she travels per hour, then divide that by 3,600.

    7 mph = 7 miles in 1 hour

    convert 7 miles to ft.

    Convert 1 hour to seconds

    Divide the first number by the second, multiply by 23.

    236 ft

  • 3600 seconds in an hour

    7 mph =>

    7 * 5280/3600 ft/sec

    23 seconds

    7 * 5280 * 23 / 3600 ft =>

    7 * 528 * 23 / 360 ft =>

    7 * 132 * 23 / 90 =>

    7 * 44 * 23 / 30 =>

    7 * 22 * 23 / 15 =>

    22 * 161 / 15 =>

    22 * (150 + 11) / 15 =>

    22 * 150/15 + 22 * 11/15 =>

    22 * 10  +  11 * (15 + 7) / 15 =>

    220  +  11 * 15/15  +  11 * 7/15 =>

    220 + 11 * 1  +  77/15 =>

    220 + 11 + 75/15 + 2/15 =>

    231 + 5 + 2/15 =>

    236 + 2/15

    2/15 ft = x/12 ft

    2/15 = x/12

    2 * 12/15 = x

    2 * (4/5) = x

    1.6 = x

    236 ft 1.6 inches
