is Oatmeal awful for the stomach flu?

    Yes it is awful. It can be too heavy on the stomach.

    If you have diarrhea you should drink only water for 24 hours. Food just delays the healing process. BTW there is no such illness as 'stomach flu'. It's actually viral gastroenteritis.
