Is Carlos Beltran the worst thing to happen to MLB since....EVER?!?!?!?

No though his involvement in the scandal is a shame. The guy was a great player though overrated but still, I think the guy may have gotten desperate for a ring and wants one before he retires which may have led to what transpired. That's my guess.

Chico was at the end of a long, overpriced career when he came up with the scheme but he certainly didn't benefit from it. He set career lows in average, OBP and slugging percentage and his strikeout rate was the highest of his career.

The boy was trying desperately to justify the $16M contract the Houston generously gave him in the hope the team would keep him on for another year or two and he felt that knowing which pitch was coming would help him attain that goal.

What he failed to realize that he was never that good to begin with so once the reflexes went his career was over no matter what kind of cheating he did.

And thanks to his being a cheater his career in MLB management is now probably over. That's a good thing because there are too many jabbering monkeys in the game today.

The Black Sox scandal was as bad or worse, but that was a long time ago.

We can't nullify the 2017 Houston Astros as the 2017 World Series Champions. It's final. It's just that the Houston Astros from 2020 onwards aren't allowed to pull off their tactics anymore.
