Is there Amtrack service from Houston, Texas to Buffalo, NY area?

    Eventually there is, but it involves getting up to Chicago. Amtrak is only slightly faster than hitchhiking.

    You can take Amtrak from Houston to Buffalo, but it won't be a direct trip.  You'll have to first take a bus and then change trains.  It will take almost 2 full days and cost around $200 at the low end (depends on specific travel dates and seat selection).

    Not directly. You can a bus from Houston to Longview, Texas, and then you take one Amtrak train from Houston, Texas to Chicago, IL and another Amtrak train from Chicago, IL to Buffalo, NY. It takes about 2 days.

    Yes, but not direct between those two places. The Amtrak website is the place to find the details.

    Yes but I think you have to change trains in New Orleans and Chicago.

    i think there might be, i used to live in syracuse and would take the amtrak to nyc , just call and ask them
