Is there a conflict of interest starting a mortgage broking and real estate business? ?
I’m interested in both of these and am wondering if there would be a conflict of interest (not allowed) to start a mortgage broking business and a real estate business and operate cooperatively? Thank you

Yes, you can. However, there are some regulations that you should be aware of if this is something you are considering.
A real estate agent cannot originate FHA loans if it’s for one of their own real estate clients.
Is this legal? Yes. But it's not ethical. Real estate agents are governed by a code of ethics and should not benefit financially from a transaction other than their sales commission when dealing with a specific client.

Is there a conflict no. As long as you allow people to make their own choices and don't force them to use your mortgage broker services. You could also offer insurance to be one stop shop.
