Some people always seem to assume that because some other people can have certain things then we should all be able to have them, then they buy these things they want using credit that they know they cannot pay back.  I feel no sorrow for people who are jealous of what another person has and feel even less sorrow for people who then go out and buy things on credit knowing that they'll not be able to pay off that sum.

Because of very low income I've never had expensive special things but just accepted that that was my way of life.  I don't envy others I'm just glad that I owe not one single penny to anyone. The small amount I do have is mine and I pay of utility bills and food bills and consider myself rich because I don't OWE money. That's how I was brought up and it's how I'll be until the day I leave this earth.  Sadly, my kids don't do the same.

If it is a country where the government does NOT provide universal health care, then bankruptcies will be due to medical costs.
