The important thing about self-isolation is not to be in contact with other people. So how many people do you expect to be in contact when you put out the rubbish? If necessary, wear an N-95 face mask whenever you need to leave your self-isolation and wash you hands often.

If you have the Coronavirus you won't want to eat much, so your rubbish will be reduced, but put it out as normal while wearing a mask and rubber gloves. Remember to wash your hands and gloves before and after in a Dettol solution to kill the virus.

If I get it I’ll bag it up and put it out for collection. I’ll wash my hands first as I’m not so mean as to pass it on to the bin men.
Although if I’m too unwell to go outside then I’ll just leave it bagged up in the utility room whilst I lament on my plight!
