Surely there are to-date in 2020 more deaths World-wide from flu than from Corona-virus?

    Yes. Absolutely. In the US alone about 60,000 people die EVERY YEAR from the flu. That's 165 people a day. As far as the coronavirus is concerned - 4,031 people have died - in total - worldwide. So far. So the flu is our biggest risk - numbers wise. But that could change. And quickly. So we have to be careful.

    These stats are posted on the news just about every day, and you can find them on the CDC website too.

    But this Coronavirus strain just started, flu has been here for thousands of years.
