Do you think Corona Virus is being exaggerated? The real danger may not be that much. Even may be it is a kind of induced one by some nation?
The way things are going on about this epidemic, it is quite artificial and some fear is being induced in to the world, by some society who wants to control the whole humanity. Just if you feel that I am wrong, still you don't need to be harsh, just express your opinion. Even if you are harsh, I really don't care.

Yes it is, I feel them making it as awful as it really is is IMO worse than the Coronavirus itself.

Yes, massively. The media needs something to talk about to get people to watch, and people love excitement and drama.

The danger today is the same as yesterday. We have a highly contagious virus floating around that has a decent death rate attached to it. The media screaming about hording, the sky is falling, or MSNBC yesterday telling us that within ten days. Our hospitals will be overflowing with the sick and the dead, that there will not be enough meds, not enough healthcare workers, not enough resources to deal with it. That is a little overblown. It is strange how personal responsabilty is being overlooked. We had at least three know sick people on self quarantine that went walk about. Yet not a peep about it, the fact they failed in their responsibility to other citizens. Pointing out that is the largest issue, people not doing the right things.

The reaction doesn't fit the percentage of humanity who have contracted the disease. One thousand people in America is approximately what small percent? 1,000/335,000,000=less than a millionth of a percent.

The society is people. People love to PANIC! I don't know why as PANIC KILLS! But they enjoy the thrill of panicking. We fear what we don't know. Let me 'splain loosely. My healthcare provider sent me an email thanking me for getting a flu shot. ONLY 75% of people do! They are used to the flu and don't care and thousands die a year because they don't get a shot and don't care. Now we have something new where you can't get a shot and I'll bet those same people who don't get the flu shot are changing their underwear hourly over it. Death is death, they don't get that. They somehow think Covid-19 death is worse than Influenza death and go bonkers. As to your theory, I always love a new conspiracy theory. It shows you are creative.

The virus seems to "cull the herd" -- except we're not animals and so the impact isn't desirable. Assuming a 16 percent death rate of people 80+, we could expect about seven million Americans dead if we were all infected (carriers). That's more than the holocaust.
