    Answering the Tough Question...

"Should we hope that God will miraculously cure everyone who is afflicted in body or soul?

Yes.  But we should not expect it.  Why not?  For two reasons.

First, because God has not told us to expect it.

Although Scripture tells us that God gave the Twelve – and hence their Successors – power and authority to heal the sick (Lk. 9:1; Matt. 10:1),

and though we see multiple instances where signs and wonders accompany the disciples’ proclamation of Jesus Christ (Acts 4; Lk. 10:17-19),

nevertheless, Scripture nowhere says or even implies that God will grant every petition for a miraculous sign."

    "The second reason is experience.

Those who hope in God to heal the sick know from experience that the vast majority of prayers for miraculous healings go unanswered, at least as asked.

This should not be taken, or not always taken, as a sign of lack of faith, but rather an expression of God’s will.

As the Catechismnotes, God heals, yes, but he only heals some, not all. (nos. 1505, 1508 "

Of course not. People who live in God's truth still live in the natural world, and are still subject to the natural forces that exist in this world.

The fact of the matter: No, just like religion can never save anyone from the wrath of God, only God The Lord Jesus Christ our Lord Jesus Christ can save us by grace, read Ephesians 2:1-22

Italy shut its borders, and the Vatican (like a separate nation within Italy) shut its borders, as well. So, the pope doesn't think that God will protect them. Some Catholic churches (surrounded by golden treasures) get robbed, so they put locks on the doors and installed security cameras. Apparently the Catholic church has no faith (faith, I emphasize) that God will protect their possessions.

No. Religious belief and prayer will do nothing (as usual).

No, delusions rarely help against things in reality.

Orthodox sign of the cross kills bacteria (and other dirty things)...

According to saint Pelageya of Ryazan, fire forms when you put the thumb, index, and middle finger the right way (to make sign of the cross).

"Roman Catholic sign of the cross" is upside down and invites demons.

    Christians = Orthodox only.

Patriarch Kiril of Russia is a traitor; he's a secret Roman Catholic bishop; he's KGB agent Mikhailov; he's a banker; he sold alcohol and cigarettes... hence he's not Patriarch, but pseudo-Patriarch...

LORD willing, when China attacks Russia, resurrected saint Seraphim of Sarov will show new Ruski Orthodox Tsar... This Tsar will slay traitors inside Church and gov't ... Russia will be the only country not under the antichrist; forgive me.

Oddly, people (some christians there perhaps?), in their ultimate stupidity have bought up all the dust masks on the market.  To protect from a virus that passes right through the dust mask.

Meanwhile, they put woodworkers and others that work in dusty environments without protection.

They do protect against dust, not viruses.  By buying them all up, they ensure NOBODY is protected from either dust or viruses.

They clearly don't think their magic will be enough.

I’m honestly getting tired of hearing about coronavirus, when will the government get rid of it like they did Ebola?
