Lost phone but I know where it is? ?
I lost my phone, but called it and heard the vibration in my car. It sounded like it was coming from the front dash. To clarify, I KNOW for a fact it’s in there. Called it 40+ times and every time you could hear it in the car. Also, tracker confirmed everywhere I drove and checked all my clothing. Someone else drove my car and could also confirm that it was in the car when they left too. Anyone have a similar story or know how to take apart certain parts of a car where the phone might be? It’s a Ford Edge if that helps.

If the phone got there without dismantling the dash, it is EXTREMELY likely you can get it out without dismantling the dash. I recommend having someone more thorough look for it. If that fails, post a photo with an arrow showing where you believe the phone is, so we know exactly what you want to take apart.

You're just going to have to search for it. Use the tracking feature to make it continuously ring and snoop around until you localize which vent it fell into. Stick a hose in your ear and point it around until the sound is loudest. That's where you need to work. Get a repair manual to show you how to get inside the places the phone fell in. Good luck.

Unless someone has hidden the phone it can only be in an accessible place!

look on youtube for ford edge maintenance videos, look for things like speedometer replacement or air vent cleaning

Open your glove box. Check under the dash. Check under the seats. Unless your dash has a gaping hole, there is NO way it can drop in it.
