Do you believe it was a wise move to place Japanese Americans in internment camps during WWII?

No it was not but then again this country was gripped by fear and the President did what he thought was best at the time.  Also most do not know or were taught this but the Nissia unit in Italy was the most decorated unit during the war.

its a logical move when the very real threat of invasion or bombardment of the US mainland and 'spies' painting targets and giving intel was a possibility ..

This was done by a moronic racist democrat president.  One that Obama has said he idolizes.  Obviously it wasn't wise.

With perfect hindsight ... absolutely not.  It was a violation of the Constitution that American Patriots should not have accepted.  However, we can also recognize at the time the amount of fear in America that the Japanese would launch an invasion of our mainland.  It's a lesson we should remember ... do not sacrifice Constitutional Rights in the name of safety.

Hindsight is 20-20. No, it was not.
