Can I still cross the border? ?

I am a U.S citizen born and raised. I am currently in mexico for vacations as of 3/21/2020 and am leaving on the 25th. Can I still cross the border despite the temporary closing? I feel good and I dont think I have the corona virus.

My buddy is in Mexico and is a natural born US citizen. But for some strange reason, he can’t come in. Which I mean he is loving it because he is in an extended vacation in paradise. I was going to go but my intoxicated taxi driver got into an accident!!!!!! So I missed my goddamn flight. Kid you not, when I tried to catch the next flight, my buddy called and said ICE is not letting ANYBODY in before 14 days. But at that time, my boss called me and said. You are still in the country, and you know about the 14 day quarantine. If you go, you are fired!!!!!! I kid you not!!!! Aaaaargh....

Stay home! Cancel your trip immediately!

    1. Incubation period is 14-21 days. You can have no symptoms & still be contagious, spread the virus to others.

    2. You have to quarantine yourself for a minimum of 14 days upon your return to US. Do you have the money to isolate yourself for a couple of weeks & a safe place to stay ALONE?

Yes.  You will be asked bout your travel history and if you have any signs/symptoms of the virus but that is all.

    If it is closed, no

To get back home, yes.  As long as you do not show any symptoms, and you are going to have to self isolate for 2 weeks after you get home.
