i’m thinking about attending a community college and then transferring to a university . does the community college pay for me to go to the university or no?

No, absolutely not. You will pay the community college for the time you are there and then you will pay the university for the time you are there. You pay for all of it unless you get grants, scholarships, or loans to help cover your expenses.

YOU pay for what you want. People often choose to earn an associate's degree at a community college because it is cheaper for those first 2 yrs than a university. But nobody except you & your parents are paying for your schooling. IF you qualify, you might get some financial aid, or you can see if you qualify to apply for private scholarships from foundations, etc, and apply that toward your tuition, if you ever win one. Like the vast majority of college students, you'll work to help pay for everything.

No it doesn’t pay you. Why would it pay you to go to college when you pay to go to community college.
