Is it true that everyone on unemployment are getting an extra $600 a week from the stimulus package?

    No, you won't ever make more on unemployment than you made in legal income. They said specifically no one will get a raise for staying home.

    So if you make 12 an hour averaging 40 hours then the most unemployment you could receive would be 480 a week. It wouldn't make sense to pay you 800 per week in emergency income. 

    There are much more beneficial ways to stimulate the economy.

    Yes, it's true. The purpose is to stimulate and inject funds into the economy to keep it going untiI things hopefuIIy start up again.

    I believe that is part of the deal. And everyone making under 75 grand gets $1,200 as a one time payment.
