Just got the S20 Ultra for the camera and it SUCKS?!?!?!?

Are there settings I can play with to make it better? This is supposed to be the best camera and it's 5 year ago quality.

    It's not the best camera. It's a phone.

    Anywho, truth of the matter is, the camera is only as good as whoever is using it, be it a phone or a real camera.

    Samsung's camera app has problems - try a different one.  I use Open Camera.

    Why do people keep believing that a phone Can contain a good camera?

         It can't, and that's that, so Go Buy A Real Camera!!

    Uh, the S20 is a phone and not a camera.  Your first mistake is thinking that a $5 camera (the cost of the camera module in the S20) is going to be good quality.

    But then again, without seeing the image(s) that you think are bad, it's hard to say if it's the fault of the camera or the user.  Most of the time the photo is bad because of the user.  You have to understand that you're using a very inexpensive camera which has very limited capabilities.  This means you must use the camera in brightly-lit scenes.  Shooting inside or in any dark situation will produce horrible results.

    Do yourself a favor and get yourself a real digital camera like a Sony RX-100 and your images will blow any phone at any price (including the $1,000 iPhone 11).

    I've said it before, and I'll say it again;

    Putting a camera into a phone, makes an expensive phone and a lousy camera.

    Maybe someone should make a great camera graced with a decent smartphone app huh?
