The early Christians did not celebrate Ester, nor do true Christians today.

The Catholic Encyclopedia tells us: "A great many pagan customs, celebrating the return of spring, gravitated to Easter. The egg is the emblem of the germinating life of early spring. . . .The rabbit is a pagan symbol and has always been an emblem of fertility." - p. 227.

In private but not at church or with others. Church Services can still be viewed on-line. It is a dark year.

Everybody I know is celebrating- just differently. They're watching church services at home, making a nice dinner for whoever lives in their house- people with kids are still doing egg hunts. There's no reason not to celebrate holidays.

    Celebating Easter more like.

Seriously though I'm pretty sure there's some Jewish holiday around Easter time but I can never keep them all straight. I think it might be the one with the shack.

Googling...nope, it's the big one, Passover, but I haven't celebrated in years.
