Stimulus Check 2020?
Good evening everyone. I Just want to make sure If I will receive my stimulus or not.
I started working Jan. 2019 and it is my first time getting a job. My company gave me a W-2 form to file but I have not filed it yet. This means I have not filed for my 2019 tax return. The Irs stated if you did not file for 2019, they will use your 2018 tax return. The only problem is, this is my first w-2 form ever, so I do not have any previous tax returns. Will I get my stimulus check? Thank you!

Assuming you meet the other requirements, you will get a stimulus check based on your 2019 tax return. Needless to say, you will need to file that tax return before you can get a payment.

It is quite possible you will have to wait and do some checking around to get a check. Not filing yet maybe a problem so don't give up.

You will not get it right now. You will get it eventually, after you file.
