Do you think people who whine about churches closing during the virus are hypocrites? ?
I sure do. Presumably, these people are pro-life when it comes to abortion, yet they don't give a damn if people might get infected and die if they gather for worship.

No, I think they're stupid. No one has the right to infect others with a potentially fatal illness.

Not merely hypocrites, but dangerously infantile and willfully ignorant. Those narcissists are forcing others to wallow in their emotional filth.

Unfortunately, there will always be people who are never happy regardless. Open the church: "you trying to kill us?" Close the church: "you're infringing on my rights!" Let's just open everything up so Trump can have his 240,000 deaths. He will be #1 then.

I'm guessing it has more to do with being fined or disciplined for attending church services while still social distancing, like what has been happening. Religion is a constitutional right. People staying in their cars for a drive in service were still abiding by the distancing order. Some folks tend to get angry when government overreaches and tries to mess with the constitution, that's all. As for the ones I saw that were essentially snake handlers in the sense that they said god would protect them from the virus if they were faithful enough...or didn't mind dying from the virus if need be so they could meet their creator sooner...well those people are bonkers. There will always bee the "die-hards" in religion and everywhere else.

I'm not bothered. They could be used to house the homeless though. That is what Jesus would want I'm sure.

Yes, faith is great but not when it results in lack of common sense. I don't walk out into traffic without carefully looking both ways, "trusting" God to "protect" me.
