Immigration question What country do Americans go to for success? Or even contingents, since most of us don't know African countries by name?

There have been Americans who have given up their citizenship but very few. I don't care where they go but I do know far more want what we have and will try to get it even if it means breaking our laws. Some will attempt to change America to that which they ran away from, they can just go home.

If you mean business success there are relatively few developed nations with laxer standards for doing that. So maybe...Singapore.

@  The Football God  Among the places I have lived are Switzerland and Spain.  Most of the others were/are not very nice countries.  I like Switzerland, and like Spain a bit less, but nether of them is "home".  Some of that is of course personal perspective, but in every other country I have been to I had to always keep in mind the fact my personal rights were less than they are in the USA.  Usually a LOT less.

@ The Football God.  If you are from New Orleans then I misunderstood your question.  Sorry.  What exactly are you trying to ask?  Note I have lived or worked in nine other countries besides the USA and visited more than 40 others.

I grew up in Algiers, went to Alice Harte/Karr/O.P. Walker, and UNO. My favorite bar is Molly's at the Market. We lived in Lakeview when Katrina struck.
