how to install crank style window in door of 1998 Chevy S-10?

The glass has a clamp of sorts that holds the window to the mechanism. You should be able to remove the glass without removing any interior pieces of the window unless the piece that holds the glass is severely corroded and must also be replaced.

The regulator needs to be REPLACED. You will also need to put holes in the door panel.
