Make sure you've had dinner the night before and not over eat. The more you eat the more your body wants. Have some fruit before bed or a peanut butter sandwich.

You can't really prevent that everyone wakes up hungry. When you eat your first meal of the day break fast that's when you break your fast. That's why it's called break fast. Just eat when you wake up.

ALSO realize that it's common for people to mistake thirst for hunger, so keep a tall glass of water (or other non-caffeinated beverage) by your bed so if you wake up hungry, drink a full glass of water and then see if you're still hungry or not.
