I would prefer to reach puberty at my current age, which is 77 years.

The ideal age is the point at which you develop an excess of energy to care for other people.

Puberty is fundamentally about being ready to reproduce, so when you go through puberty you should be ready to care for a child.

This is around 13-15, I think.

Considering that there are more than enough babies being born, there's no reason to reach puberty early.

Intuition is idiotic - puberty has nothing to do with what you have to think.

500 years. Reproduce couple few offspring in few years, than go back to pre-puberty. Next puberty, after some 20,000 years, ... and same again repeat, ...backwards without. Next, multiply x40k.y., ... would be 800,000 years, and repeat same. ... x40k , 30 billion years ... etc.

    Lol, whats the problem?

The ideal age is what is best for a species living in a particular environment. If it comes too late, then a population may decline and even become extinct. If it comes too early, then a population may increase exponentially, leading to overpopulation.
