In the United Kingdom we have just started our first vaccine trials on a human. What's the story where you are?

The word is: Just more Tory crap to make you think that Johnson's government has C-19 under control, which is something that's very far form the truth: In fact is just another one of his devious lies.

Quoting the wisdoms of world scientists and not Tory propaganda we are not on the verge of having a human vaccine but, maybe in a years time or so.

Drugs to relieve the symptoms of C-19 and speed recovery will be the first medicines to be used and are now undergoing trials.

Don't be conned into believing that psychos like Johnson are interested in you well-being, they are not, they are just interested in power. And of you die of C-19 they don't care.

Fortunately there's an intensive global research program going on that involves all virus research institutions. The UK is just a cogs in a greater research machine.

I've read early vaccine trials have started in several countries in April UK, US, France, I'm sure there are others. Today's science is pretty international. Of course each team, country, and big drug company wants to be 1st with vaccine. It's kind of a race but with everyone trading info.

If you allow 6 months for trials (there will have to be more than 1 set) there could be a 'winner' by Oct.

Of course then they'll have to make 100's of millions of doses and inject 100's of millions of people say another 6 months, so best scenario disease gone starting April next year.

Glad the Brits and the others are moving so quick.

God help them the volunteers must be idiots, or are they seeking hero status?. I certainly won't be having the vaccine.

The story is there are stories everywhere America has a cure China has a cure S Korea has beaten it Oxford scientists are trialling cures and vaccines and there is hope for you and I.  The government are waiting to see if they will be any good but that's in the future and meanwhile we will still be in lockdown and people will die till we we can bring the infection rate down . The 40.000 dead shouldnt have been as many had the government been fit for purpose that is honest criticism and a reply for those that cannot speak those betrayed in it all
