Do you avoid wasting money on dog toys by giving your dog trash to play with?

What do you consider trash?

My dog's favorite thing to chew is an old sock stuffed with more old socks.

If I give her a stuffed toy from the store it's chewed up in minutes.

My dog loves playing with plastic bottles, pizza boxes, and microwave popcorn bags. It's not about saving money, though ...because I fill them up with one hundred dollar bills before I give them to her.

Maybe she'd be happier biting you in the face! I know that makes me happy :)

I buy cheap toys... nothing expensive, because the dog will just destroy it anyway. However, the dog does like to play with plastic bottles.
