Can I use the letter pox instead of post office.?

Hi guys I just wanted your help on this, I have started a small business selling non expensive costume jewellery that are so tiny. I was wondering they are so small would I still need to post it at the post office or can I just use the letter box after I buy stamps.

I wouldnt recommend using that postal service for anything even remotely jewellery like. I tried to send a stone ring to a friend in the uk 3 times, it got stolen in transit every time. It was just a polished granite ring that had some meaning for the two of us, but no real value, but some element of the postal service apparently felt that anything small and easy to pocket was fair game

You can use an ordinary letterbox in the U.K.
