In-ground pool cleaner gets stuck in corner - any tricks or hacks to prevent that?

First world problems. Try removing the hose and mounting it in a new orientation.

take an ordinary brick down to the corner and put it in lengthwise across the corner.

Put a float in the corner for the pool cleaner to bump into.

The hose that attaches to it may be to long You can try taking a segment of hose out if you have that type of hose . I'd also check the suction , and make sure it's strong enough to keep it moving . If it's got weak suction . It will get hung up or stuck . But if the hose that's attached to it n.

If that's to long It will sometime get hung up like that Those 2 things are easy to check Also if you use a adapter valve for the sweeper . Its basically a hose adapter for the sweeper connect to .if that's not working properly It will also cause it to get stuck since suction would be compromised .Threw that in just in case .these are easy cheap things to check yourself .and won't take long to do it .Also make sure the strainer in the pump is not full of junk too ..

You also may have manual ball valves by your pumo that control flow to the main drain ,and the skimmer .If your art up is like that .then make sure the flow is favoring the sweeper more .Cause that what will control it suction ,and yes they also can have too much suction and not right either .So I tried to cover the basics here I may have missed something But these are very easy things to check/monitor yourself and it's easy too
