Look up the concept of "accidents" as posited by Aristotle.  In transubstantiation,  although it is the real body of Christ, the accident of bread remains.

The consecrated host is the glorified and risen body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus Christ, sacramentally present under the auspices of bread and wine. A vegan (or anybody else) who would have a problem accepting that should probably abstain.

ALL Catholics believe in transubstantiation.  Get with the program.

And which part of bread and wine don't you understand?

    I think vegans are crunchy

And they get stuck between my teeth

    Good fiber though
