Good/Bad sound language?

I'm a Japanese.

I know this is stupid and not good question because each Language contains each culture but I really wanna know how native English speakers feel this.

So Give me straightforward.

1. Does German sound bad(not cool)??

If yes, why??

2. I personally feel American English sounds better than British.

Reason is more rhythmical like music.

Do you think British people at least understand it even though they don't agree?.

German is often regarded as an ugly language, to me it almost sounds like a barking dog.

Some people prefer American accents over British, some people British over  American, yes we understand each other, but sometimes due to the accent there is misunderstandings between an American English speaker and a British English speaker.

    1.  German is a dissonant language certainly, it can be uncomfortable to listen to.

    2.  This is where you and I differ, I hate listening to Americans.  The majority of their accents are like fingers down a chalkboard and they use the wrong words.  I'm not British.
